Technical features of printing technologies

Screen printing

• Cliché cost: a standard cost for every different graphic design, independent of order quantity
• Production time: As a standard production time, you can count with 2-3 working days. Express production takes usually1 working day, depending on available capacities
• Approval: written confirmation of acceptance of the graphic design
• Therefore mentioned deadlines are to be counted from the approval of the graphic design.
• Lines and details that are more narrow than 0,3 mm might be blurred, smudged or invisible.
• Internal margin: top and bottom margins of at least 2 mm should be applied to each graphic design
• We can accept graphic designs only in vector format, with a 100% black fill
• Graphic designs in raster format might significantly change during the conversion into vector graphics
• In case of approved graphic design complaints are not accepted
• Screen printing is applied for following products:

TYVEK 1” wristband
TYVEK 1” STUB wristband;
Reflex wristband;
Silicon wristband;

Sublimation printing

• Sample production is available in each case for extra charge
• 1,5 mm of upper and bottom inner margins are necessary to use in the graphic design
• 2 mm of upper and bottom bleeds are necessary to use in the graphic design
• Due to technology characteristics, a vertical shift of 1,5 mm of the print is accepted
• Sublimation technology does not result an offset/photo quality prints. Due to the limitations of this technology,  we recommend printing larger motifs or shapes rather than very detailed, small objects
• When using the Pantone color chart, 10% of difference in color is accepted
• When using the Pantone color chart, sample production is highly recommended
• Precise color match is guaranteed only if case of sample production, but even in this case the technology differences between sublimation and digital printing should be taken into account
• To maintain a high quality, vector graphics are preferred
• If using raster format, we can accept a minimum resolution of 300 dpi or higher
• In case of approved graphic design complaints are not accepted
• Screen printing is applied for following products:

Decor ribbons

• Yarns used for sewing is identical to the color applied in the graphic design

Available printing types and their meaning:

• One side printing: only one side of the (white) material will be printed
• Double side printing – inner side is colored: one side of the (white) material will be printed, the other (inner) side of the material will be colored with one color which is usually identical with the main color of the other side
• Double side printing – not synchronized: both sides of the material will be printed with the same graphics, but the position of the two sides might be different
• Double side printing – synchronized: not synchronized: both sides of the material will be printed with the same graphics, both sides in the same position (with a difference of maximum 15-20mm)

• In case of fabric wristbands, shipped quantity might differ from the ordered quantity by+/- 1%
• In case of a graphic design with a white background, due to the differences in the base material color, slight variance in the shade is accepted
• Crop lines might be visible at the end of the ribbon
