Quick Overview

Full face colour artwork on a rigid PVC tag. Logo, sponsor and event identity, somewhere people actually look.

• Single sided printing;
• UV print cannot be scratched off with a fingernail;
• Tag: 39 × 23 mm rigid PVC, threaded through two slots, no rivets;
• Band: 15 mm × 350 mm, plain single colour or sublimated full colour;
• Closures available in several colours and materials;

• No NFC chip and no code: this is purely a branding product;
• Manufactured in the EU, lead time 3–11 working days.

Details

Artwork can be sublimated onto a fabric band too, but a 15 mm strip is a narrow canvas: a logo ends up small, fine detail is lost, and text is barely legible. A threaded PVC tag gives you 39 × 23 mm of continuous, flat surface instead. That is an order of magnitude more room, and it sits where the eye stops.

That is why this product works for branding and sponsorship. The tag is a small wearable sign: the logo fits cleanly, legibly, in brand colours, rather than squeezed into a strip.

Worth knowing about colour accuracy. Sublimated colour on fabric is influenced by the structure and base colour of the textile, so brand colours can shift slightly and fine gradients scatter across the fibres. UV printing onto a white PVC surface is more accurate and sharper by comparison: edges stay crisp, small text stays legible, and brand colours land closer to the values you specified. If faithful logo reproduction matters, the tag is the better carrier.

The tag is sellable advertising space. Many organisers overlook the fact that these 39 × 23 mm can be sold. For a sponsor it is measurable exposure worn on every attendee's wrist for the full duration of the event, which is often worth more than a banner. That turns the wristband from a cost line into a revenue line, and with decision makers that argument frequently lands better than the design does.

The band can be printed too. Two routes: a plain single colour band where the tag carries the whole identity, or a sublimated full colour band where the two work together. The first makes the tag stand out more; the second gives a unified wristband where the tag reads as part of the whole.

Printing is single sided, on one face of the tag. The available 39 × 23 mm is ample for a logo and a few words of text; if you need to fit a lot of information, it is worth discussing the artwork with us first.

There is no code on it, and that is deliberate. This product is not built for access control. If you need an identifier on the tag as well, we suggest two alternatives:

  1. A unique code for every attendee: QR code or barcode wristband with PVC tag. Both accept a full colour background or logo for a surcharge, so colour and variable codes are not mutually exclusive.
  2. The same code for everyone, such as a web link, menu or survey: a sublimated fixed code fabric wristband solves it for less → Fabric wristbands

Durability. UV print bonds directly to the PVC surface. It is not a foil and not a sticker, so it does not peel or fade, cannot be scratched off with a fingernail, and resists water, sunscreen and the abrasion of multi-day wear. That matters for a branding product too: a worn, faded logo is worse than no logo at all.

Typical applications:

• Sponsored events – the tag becomes standalone, sellable advertising space
• Brand events and company family days – identity worn on every attendee's wrist
• Concerts and tours – a keepsake wristband people hold on to
• Sports clubs and supporter events – club colours and crest at a legible size
• Festival merchandise – entry pass and souvenir in one
• Conferences – event branding where access control is handled separately
• Weddings and private events – custom dates, monograms and artwork

Common questions:

What file format do you need the artwork in?
Vector is best, because it stays sharp at small sizes. If you only have a raster image, please send it at high resolution. If you're not sure, send what you have and we'll take a look.

Do I see a proof before printing?
Yes. We send the artwork for approval before it goes into production.

Can a code be added to a colour tag?
Yes, but then you need the QR code or barcode product. Both accept a full colour background or logo for a surcharge, so colour and unique codes can be combined.

How accurate is the colour reproduction?
UV printing onto white PVC is more accurate than sublimation onto fabric, because it isn't affected by the structure and base colour of the textile. For exact brand colour matching, it's worth discussing before you approve the proof.

Can the back of the tag be printed?
No, printing is single sided.
