PVC Mini Tag for Wristbands

This is the tag on its own, without a wristband.

Three situations typically call for it:

1. You already have wristbands or lanyards. The tag has two slots, one narrow and one wide, and the band threads through them. No tools, no adhesive, a few seconds per unit. It lets you upgrade existing stock: a plain fabric wristband becomes a coded access band.
2. You are a reseller or systems integrator. Blank tags can be ordered as raw material and built into your own solution. If you would rather leave the printing to us, we handle variable code production too: you send the code list as CSV or XLS, and we print and pack in the order of that file.
3. You need it somewhere other than a wrist. The tag works on lanyards, bags, sports equipment and assets, anywhere you need a durable identifier that cannot be scratched off. Rigid PVC does not crease and does not absorb water.

Blank or printed. The blank version is the lowest cost option and makes sense if you print in house. It is worth knowing, though, that not every printing technology bonds durably to PVC: thermal and inkjet prints can be sensitive to wear and water. Our UV print bonds to the surface and cannot be scratched off with a fingernail, so if durability is critical, ordering it printed is the safer route.

Code capacity. The printable area between the slots is 25 × 20 mm. For QR codes that means around 60 alphanumeric characters with reliable scanning, and for 1D Code128 a maximum of 8 numeric digits. What band width does it fit? 
The slots are sized for 15 mm band width.

Can I thread the tag on myself? 
Yes. The band passes through the two slots, without tools or adhesive, in a few seconds.

Can I print on it with my own printer? 
That is exactly why we offer blank tags. Bear in mind that not every technology bonds durably to PVC; thermal and inkjet prints can be sensitive to wear and water.

Is there an NFC version?
